During this short course you will learn how to put content onto a website.  You will work live on a website (either your own or a test site) using a free content management system and will learn the skills required to edit the content.  This is not a coding course and no previous experience of html etc, is required.  However, basic computer and word processing knowledge is assumed.  By the end of the session participants will be able to change the content on a content managed website.

For ease and familiarity, participants are advised to bring their own laptops if available. If you require a laptop to be provided, please advise at the time of booking.

Your will achieve a basic understanding of how computers talk to each other, the basic requirements for them to connect, an understanding of resource management and sharing, security on a network and how to set up and configure computer on a network and connecting them to the Internet.

  • An overview of image editors such as Photoshop, and the best free Photoshop alternatives, including new cloud software
